New Releases and Partnerships

Expanding our offerings in our Node Marketplace has been a primary focus for us in August with adding protocols to our multi-cloud infrastructure and datacenter, and working with excellent partners to deepen our offerings. Here are the recent releases and partnerships we’ve made:

Celo, a decentralized platform, enables a monetary system that creates conditions of prosperity for all and makes financial tools accessible to anyone. This team is taking on an ambitious goal to create a truly inclusive financial system and we are happy to support their mission. Contact us if you are interested in launching nodes and connecting to this protocol!

Algo Capital, the financial institution focused on accelerating access, adoption and liquidity of the Algo, announced this month that it closed the Algo VC Fund at $200 million. They are focused on investing in emerging disrupters with proven business models, scalable revenue, and a clear path toward profitability and Blockdaemon is honored to be part of their initial portfolio. Read more in their latest release and easily launch your Algorand nodes via our Marketplace.

We’ve added the ability over the summer to launch your nodes on the Lightning network, the protocol ‘layered’ on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. You’ll get a Bitcoin node, plus the developer-friendly LND from Lightning Labs. In addition to this launch we provide the RTL App which allows easy operation of your lightning nodes from the web.

Kusama is live! Blockdaemon is proud to be the only node infrastructure provider supporting Polkadot’s canary network. Contact us if you are interested in running a node!

 

With the launch of XRP on our platform, we offer non-validating nodes expanding our monitoring options to be able to showcase node logs for our customers (see below in the log view!).

We also provide the ability to run validator nodes for investors of Ripple upon request. Contact us if you are interested in running validator nodes in your region of choice!

App improvements: if you find account and/or signup forms which do not clearly nor in any way define password requirements frustrating, we agree! We’ve made ours easier to use and clearly defined. Read more in our recent support article here.

We are honored to be part of the Web3 Foundation grants program for the Polkadot Network. To read more about the recipients, check out their latest post.
