At Blockdaemon, we aim to demystify blockchain. Whether it’s letting anyone in the world spin up a blockchain node in one click or allowing whoever wishes to delegate to our public validators, we want to make the journey as easy as possible. As the world leader in blockchain infrastructure, we build the tools that simplify all things blockchain.
We know what makes a great proof-of-stake experience. Our customers want real-time metrics, accurate reporting data and total portfolio visibility. That’s why we’ve updated our staking dashboard. This now delivers all of these metrics and more. Powered by Ubiquity, Blockdaemon’s cutting-edge staking dashboard hosts the data that matters to you. This tool currently supports Polkadot and Algorand, however we are looking at implementing more protocols. In this post, we’ll dive into the key features that users can enjoy. These include:
- Staking address overview
- Token reward monitoring
- Total balance topline
By the end of this post, you’ll have a comprehensive overview of each feature of our new-and-improved staking dashboard.
1. Staking Address Overview
Staking addresses are the fingerprints of the crypto ecosystem: no two are the same. They provide exclusive visibility of the funds under you or your company’s control. Our new staking dashboard allows you to add the addresses of your accounts. This keeps track of your funds across Polkadot and Algorand. Collectively, these watched addresses are your combined portfolio.
Traditionally, a user would need to access different apps to see their portfolios. Disparate data would be a pain-point for users. Now, addresses can be aggregated into one place. These addresses are necessary to view your funds.
2. Token Reward Monitoring
Proof-of-stake allows anyone who holds tokens to earn rewards. Rewards flow to an owner’s address on a consistent basis. This is on the condition that everyone involved performs their duties correctly. Some protocols, such as Polkadot, pay out rewards roughly every 24 hours. Other protocols may take longer or shorter time to distribute rewards.
Our token reward monitoring system tracks on-chain metrics to identify exactly when you are rewarded with tokens. Keep in mind, rewards that haven’t been distributed on-chain will not be visible on the graph. This means that pending rewards are not shown. The new staking dashboard highlights whenever new rewards are generated on the blockchain for each linked address. Using a simple graph, we can clearly see Polkadot and Algorand rewards.
3. Total balance topline
Staking rewards grow your overall crypto holdings. This will be reflected in your balance. Your total account balance will be visible on the platform. Not only will this show your overall crypto portfolio, but also the associated USD equivalent. This allows you to gauge the current value of your portfolio in both crypto and fiat.
With an easy-to-understand graph, you can easily see financial performance over time. As the value of your portfolio increases, you’ll see this reflected in the graph.
Wrap-Up
Blockdaemon are the proof-of-stake experts. We’ve updated our staking dashboard to provide the most value for Polkadot and Algorand users. Powered by Ubiquity, we pull on-chain staking data, USD value and real-time address monitoring into one simple, intuitive platform. What’s more, you can even add addresses not directly staked with Blockdaemon. Any Polkadot and Algorand address is welcome. We are committed to improving the blockchain communities we are involved in. We provide the tools that help simplify staking across Polkadot and Algorand.
We are only at the beginning of our staking dashboard journey. Coming up, we’ll be introducing more protocols and newer features, including a downloadable staking report. Over time, we’ll add Ethereum2.0 and many more. Contact us if you have any feedback or ideas about new features you’d like to see! Be sure to check out our staking dashboard today!
