We are seeking a leader who has the experience to lead and oversee all aspects of the UK team. You will be essential in the scale up of our UK region by identifying and analysing the potential of untapped markets in the UK and executing it, building the processes and teams necessary to support the operations for our UK business. 

You will make informed recommendations regarding the strategic direction for the country and then lead in execution, in conjunction with the management team to achieve the company’s long term objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build, manage, and scale the local team
  • Manage the UK branch operations and achieve the business/sales performance targets set by the company
  • With support from headquarters in the US, shape and construct the region’s business operating model and team structure, build and manage the regional team
  • Formulate the business and sales strategy and steer the region operations and align with the Company’s overall business plans
  • Pioneer the sales network in the region
  • Establish sales plan and propose solution strategies by regions or vertical to reach defined sales and revenue objectives including leveraging on marketing resources
  • Expand and maintain regional plans to promote sales growth in the region
  • Help identify key prospects and build a strategic sales approach to ongoing new business growth
  • Develop creative and innovative concepts for new business presentations and maximize sales opportunities across all products
  • Budget/forecast based on market conditions and product analysis
  • Generate pipeline and new business opportunities
  • Create, maintain and deliver a clear vision and business strategy that is aligned with corporate goals and values
  • Provide support in maintaining relationships and negotiating strategic deals with key clients to successful closure

Skills and Required Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • 10+ years of sales or operations experience
  • 5+ years of experience in some form of people management
  • Proven sales experience and strong relationships in our target market
  • Strong business acumen and thought leadership to identify new business opportunities and develop successful and expand customer base
  • Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills plus a keen attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Exceptional regard for confidentiality and organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize work, pivot as necessary and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with blockchain technology and fintech a plus
