We are looking for a Head of Recruiting to help the organization hire top talent in a timely, efficient & cost-effective manner while promoting diverse & inclusive hiring practices.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Directs the organization’s recruitment function and establishes and implements policies for recruiting, screening, and interviewing individuals to fill organizational roles
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with employment agencies, external recruiters, professional associations, or other organizations that can ensure a continuous pipeline of employment candidates
  • Develops policies governing the candidate screening and interview scheduling process
  • Establishes standards for reference or background checks
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination
  • Consider building out a small intern program and college recruiting program when the time is right
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management
  • Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Required Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • 10+ years of recruiting experience
  • 5+ years of experience in people management
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases (Indeed, Angel, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills plus a keen attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Exceptional regard for confidentiality and organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize work, pivot as necessary and meet deadlines
