Staking

  • White-Label Polkadot Validator Node

Blockdaemon lets anyone run their own validator node and white-label it in their own name. Our white-label validator nodes are non-custodial (you keep your keys private), fully maintained/monitored, run at 99.9% uptime and have manual-failover built-in, eliminating double-signing. Blockdaemon’s market leading node performance is focused on meeting the high demands of large institutional banks, custodians and exchanges. Protecting your assets is critical to Blockdaemon and to mitigate risk we’ve established slashing insurance, provided by Marsh.

  • Staking Tools

Our Staking Dashboard gives you a high-level overview of your staking activity, which includes your rewards earned, account address, principal, and reward amounts converted to USD.

If you want to analyze your Polkadot rewards more comprehensively, download them from a Staking Report. The Staking Report contains validator address, principal staked, crypto token, yield, time period, and ending validator balance.

  • Public Polkadot Validator

If you want to test out our node performance before investing in a validator node or don't have the minimum Polkadot tokens to run your own validator, consider delegating to a Blockdaemon public validator.

Nodes & APIs

  • Dedicated Polkadot Nodes

We've been perfecting Nodes-as-a-Service since 2017. All our Dedicated RPC Nodes are built for zero downtime and high security. Our nodes are supported by optional High-Availability Clusters, offering secure backups and helping you manage unforeseen load spikes. Lastly, every machine we manage comes with 24/7 support and transparent service level agreements.

  • Universal API

If you want access to Polkadot data but don't want to run a Dedicated node, take a closer look at our Universal API. Our Universal multi-chain API lets you tap into full archive data and transaction data at a fraction of the cost of running a node. Best of all, it's free to try out.

  • Native Polkadot API

With the Native RPC Access API, you can easily interact with multiple major protocols through their own native APIs. The Native Access API allows you to go deeper into a specific blockchain and get enriched native specific data with no abstraction to connect to our nodes.

  • Fiat to DOT Onramp

Our Gem Onramp is the easiest way to add a “Buy DOT” button to your app. Gem Onramp provides an embeddable UI that lets your users buy Polkadot DOT directly via ACH, SEPA, Debit Card, Credit Card, in 125 different countries, without ever leaving your app. All compliance and KYC details are managed for you. Best of all, it's free to you. All fees are paid by your users.

  • MPC Wallet Solutions

Self-hosted, white label, institutional-grade wallet platform for custodians, exchanges, and investors. If you prefer to build your own wallet, the Sepior Threshold Security Module (TSM) provides Advanced MPC key management and protection via an SDK for easy integration. Unlike MultiSig, secure MPC runs entirely off chain, enabling reduced gas fees.

Connecting institutions to blockchains with one integration.

Supporting 60+ cutting edge blockchain networks with world-class blockchain infrastructure. We power the blockchain economy with an easy-to-use, secure and scalable node management platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Just register/log into our Self-Serve App to complete a purchase. Find our Polkadot documentation here.

  • Successfully elected validators, upon completing their work, receive a service fee (validator fee), with the remaining rewards distributed to their nominators (those who delegated to the validator). Rewards are automatically distributed.

  • Those acting as validators enable transactions across parachains by adding new blocks to the main Relay Chain. They ensure the information contained in blocks is valid. The only risk that exists is a validator not complying with the consensus algorithms, removing a portion of the validator’s DOT. This incentivizes good performance. Validators are elected a couple of times per day. Read more about insurance for our White-label Validators.

  • Nominated proof of stake (NPoS) is different from standard PoS networks as validators are nominated to mint blocks. Nominators (DOT token holders) do this by publishing a list of validator candidates that they trust, and putting down an amount of DOT at stake to support them. By nominating a successfully elected validator, the nominator receives a share of the rewards given to the validator for performing their work. Unlike traditional PoS systems, Polkadot grants validators equal voting power in consensus. This means that no party is overrepresented or underrepresented, proportional to their stake.

  • Absolutely. Blockdaemon has earned the ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security Management.

In addition we’re fully compliant with AML/KYC policies. Take a closer look at the specifics here or watch this overview:

  • It’s rare. In fact, we’re so confident in our Validator Node performance, Blockdaemon provides slashing insurance to all our White-Label Validator Node customers.
