- Gradual Adoption: Not all AVSs will implement slashing from Day 1. Expect a phased roll-out as each AVS refines its approach.
- Opt-In Model: Operators and Stakers won’t be automatically slashed for existing AVSs. Each AVS sets its own criteria, which Operators (and their Stakers) must actively accept.
- 14-Day Withdrawal Queue: Any stake withdrawal must wait 14 days after being queued. This window ensures AVSs can accurately account for - and apply - slashing if necessary.
