Team Blockdaemon will be attending ETHDenver, February 11 - 20, 2022. During this time, our team of experts will be on-hand to discuss all things Ethereum. We look forward to meeting as many of our fellow Ethereum enthusiasts there as possible!  In this post, we’ll recap some of what we’re currently working on in Ethereum. We’d be happy to discuss any and all of these with the community at ETHDenver. We’re excited to share how what we’re building will add to the use, utility and adoption to Ethereum.

Want to hear more about how Blockdaemon can help you with your Blockchain journey? Contact us today to chat more about our blockchain solutions, or read on to get a closer look at what’s new.

Blockdaemon’s Ethereum Projects in 2022

As long standing members of the community, we’re actively involved in building innovative offerings and contributing to the Ethereum ecosystem. Our offerings create value on the network, while our community involvement adds to a healthy and decentralized space. Here’s a snapshot of what we’re involved in:

Building an Eth2 liquid staking product for institutions.

We’re proud to partner with StakeWise to deliver an institutional-grade liquid staking product on Eth2. This will be the world’s first Eth2 liquid staking solution for financial institutions. Institutions will soon be able to stake, participate in DeFi and earn yield securely. This fully compliant and audited offering ringfences DeFi for KYC compliant funds only.

Developing open source Eth2 staking technology

We’re  developing open source Eth2 staking technology together with Obol Labs. Obol is a trust minimized staking protocol for public blockchain networks based on Distributed Validator Technology (DVT). Blockdaemon has also strategically invested in Obol Labs.

Collaborating with the Flashbots Eth2 Working Group

In November 2021, we announced that we joined Flashbots’ Eth2 Working Group as a founding member. We believe it’s important to collaborate with Flashbots towards a democratized, rather than proprietary, MEV (Maximum Extractable Value) Eth2 solution. Blockdaemon’s responsibilities as a founding member include:

  • Using Flashbots on Ethereum post-merge.
  • Participating in user interviews and product feedback with Flashbots.
  • Testing the Flashbots software on Eth2 testnets.

We also actively run thousands of Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and Eth2 nodes on a day-to-day basis. Our Eth2 validators support Lido, a liquid staking solution on Eth2. We’re also involved in Rocket Pool Staking Protocol.

How To Find Us At ETHDenver

Throughout the event, we’ll be networking with attendees to cover any questions or queries you may have. To set-up a direct sales meeting with one of the team, reach out to us directly or through our events page. We’d be happy to discuss how our industry-leading offerings can best support you. On Tuesday, February 15, we’ll be hosting a networking event entitled “nodes, validators and staking for ETH”. This will take place during #BUIDLWeek, targeted towards a developer audience. Many of us will be in attendance, so be sure to check it out. You can also meet us at the $SPORKWHALE VIP event on Saturday (Feb. 20th) at 8:00pm at the Fireside Lounge in the Art Hotel.

Blockdaemon’s Developer Resources & Support

Developers can connect to our Ethereum nodes with JSON-RPC and Websocket support. Our powerful Ubiquity offering provides a single, unified API to access Ethereum data. We’ll be around throughout the event to discuss all aspects of our leading Ethereum API services, and how they serve developers.   To provide the best developer experience possible, we have developed support resources to help devs on their journey. Be sure to check out the Blockdaemon Discord channel to connect with us and the community directly as well.   Check out our Ubiquity documentation below for Ethereum:

See you at ETHDenver!
